2024 will mark the 34th Anniversary of the Shoot ‘N’ Shout-Clay Bird Extravaganza. This year’s Shoot ‘N’ Shout will be held Thursday-September 5th, Friday-September 6th and Saturday-September 7th.
Since its inception in 1990, the Shoot ‘N’ Shout has become one of the premiere shooting/hunting competitions in America, offering a wide variety of target shooting opportunities (Trap, Skeet, Sporting Clays and a flurry shoot), great dove hunting provided by local guides, fantastic food and an unlimited amount of fun and fellowship- - - all with a laid back, informal atmosphere.
The entry fee for the Shoot ‘N’ Shout is $425.00 per shooter ($2,125.00 for a team of 5). This is a great deal considering you get the following:
Ø Shoot ‘N’ Shout Cap
Ø 1 round of Skeet
Ø 1 round of Trap (16 Yard)
Ø 1 round of Sporting Clays (50 targets) (Saturday)
Ø Flurry shoot (Friday)
Ø A Once In A Lifetime Guided Dove Hunt in the scenic Sandhills of Central Nebraska
Ø Hot Lunch on Friday
Ø Continental Breakfast on Saturday
Ø Hot Lunch on Saturday
Ø A post hunt/pre-dinner party with fresh fried dove fillets to die for and cold refreshments
Ø A fabulous steak dinner with all the trimmings on Saturday evening
Ø Great awards for the top teams and individual shooters
Ø An unlimited amount of fun and fellowship
The order in which you register will determine your dove guide draw position and Saturday shooting times; i.e., the first team registered and PAID IN FULL will be the first team to get to draw for a guide. A single application with the total team registration amount of $2,125.00 will be accepted as a team paid in full and will hold your place in the guide draw. In the past we have filled our hunt in a 2 to 3 week period, so enter early if you want to be assured of a spot in this year’s event. I will post “paid in full” teams in the order they are received on the One Box Web site (www.nebraskaonebox.com) under the Gun Club tab and the Shoot ‘N’ Shout Link.
For the Dove hunt, time will start at 2:00, not at the first shot fired. Scoring, end of the hunt and check in will still be the same.
Sporting Clays will be shot for score on Saturday.
The gun club will be open for practice on Thursday September 5th, times will be posted on the website.
Sporting Clays, Skeet, 5-stand and Trap will be available. Last Squad out will be 4:00 P.M.
The necessary Shoot ‘N’ Shout application form is enclosed. Please fill it out, date it, sign it and return it to me with you entry fee by August 15th. If you are not accepted due to lack of guides or late applications, your full entry fees will be returned to you. Also, when filling out your application, PLEASE NOTE THE QUESTION:
Ø Will you be bringing a guest(s) for the Saturday steak dinner?
We only buy Steaks for the people we know that are coming. Guests are more than welcome, but we need you to mark it on your application so we can order the correct number of steaks. Thank you!
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Thank you all for helping make the Shoot ‘N’ Shout such a great event. Hope to see you in September at the Shoot ‘N’ Shout!
